Graveside Service for Mildred Marie Miller Holloway, age 92, of Baileyton, will be at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 24, 2020, at Etha Baptist Cemetery with Jeremy Calloway officiating.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Holloway passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2020, at her residence. She was born January 28, 1928, to Charles Edward and Ethel Long Miller.
Mildred worked may years at Oneida Mills and retired in 1993. She enjoyed flowers and spent many happy hours working in her flower garden. The Fairview Senior Center brought her great joy with all of the fun games and great and interesting people she met there. When she was not busy, she loved to read, knit, and crochet.
She was a member of Welcome Baptist Church, and she had a loving Church family. She enjoyed Bible study, worship service, and the fellowship with her Church family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William "Delone" Jackson Holloway; grandson, Patrick Holloway; son-in-law, Norbert Cowart; sister, Melba Holmes; and brother, Garfus "Bud" Miller.
Survivors include her daughter, Marsha Cowart of Hanceville; son, Jack (Janet) Holloway of Priceville; grandchildren, Tony (Christine) Cowart of Charlotte, Vermont, Stephen (Cindy) Cowart of Addison, Carrie (Brad) Harris of Eva, Jason (Kelle) Holloway of Falkville, Jody Crowe of Lacey's Spring, David Crowe of Cotaco, Telva Crowe Bogle of Priceville; great-grandchildren, Andrew Cowart, Moises Cowart, Joaquin Cowart, Daniel Lockhart (proudly serving our country in the U.S. Army), Baylee Lockhart, David Lockhart, Jackson Holloway, Elizabeth Holloway, McKenzie Bogle, and Jon David Crowe.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Welcome Baptist Church, 3017 County Road 1564, Baileyton, AL 35019.
