Ruby, the seven-year-old daughter of Herbert O. and Rosette Gerard Taft. of Endeavor, died Thursday, after an illness of several weeks, from heart failure superinduced by hip joint disease as the result of an injury sustained some time ago. She was a bright, winsome little miss, and her death comes as a great shock to the fond parents. The funeral services, conducted by Rev. J.F. Scherer, were held on Saturday, and were largely attended.
