Born in Livingston, Texas, on October 3, 1942, he was the son of Manton E. Marsh and Ruth (McCormick) Marsh. Bob was a member of Bridgepoint Fellowship Church. He was an active member of the community, coaching Little League Softball and Basketball. Jesus changed Bob’s life. Bob was a faithful servant in several area churches, impacting many through the love of Christ. He took care of the love of his life, Carol when she became ill and stood by his promise to her of unending love through sickness and health. When you thought of Bob you remembered his fun and witty sense of humor, generous and friendly personality and beautiful blue eyes. He was known as the “candy man” at church and attracted all those around him with his wonderful nature. Bob proved to be a loving and devoted husband, a caring father, and a fun-loving grandfather. He loved and welcomed everyone who came into his life, but held a special place in his heart for children. Bob will be missed and remembered for generations to come, and will live on in the hearts of all those he impacted.
