Russell Ray Middleton was born May 17, 1942 in Natchitoches, Louisiana to Covie Ray and Ida Marie Durr Middleton. He was raised and attended school in Louisiana. He married Allene Burns and they celebrated 46 years of marriage before she preceded him in death in 2005. Russell worked cutting pulpwood, worked for Haliburton many years, Louisiana Pacific as a maintenance supervisor, retiring after many years of service. In his retirement he worked for the Daniel Springs Encampment. Russell married Pamila Arlene Wallesch and they would spend his remaining 13 years together. Mr. Middleton was a member of the Cedar Grove Baptist Church, the Masonic Lodge as a 32nd Degree Mason and a Shriner. He enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, and sharing his crops with those he loved. He is also preceded in death by his parents, sister, Carolyn Middleton, brothers, David Bryant and Ricky Lane Middleton.
