Bobby D. Hayes, age 80, of Rodburn Road, Morehead, passed away Friday, May 22, 2020, at his residence.



Born August 3, 1939, in Rowan County, he was the son of the late Russell and Nevada Ison Hay. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Dale Hayes, Jr., and a daughter, Teresa Louise Hayes Kegley.



Bob is survived by one son, Jimmy Ray Hayes and two daughters, Rhonda Lavern King and Debra Gail Kiley, all of Mansfield, Ohio; two sisters, Cora Sue Suver of South Carolina and Judy Ann Wellman of Argillite, Kentucky; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family and friends.



He was a former employee of Jim Day Bakery. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed playing the guitar, fishing, and storytelling. Bob loved spending time with his family and will be greatly missed.



Following COVID recommendations, visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, May 24, 2020, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 3 p.m. Sunday with Pastor Cecil Ison officiating.



Graveside services and interment will be 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at Mansfield Cemetery in Mansfield, Ohio.
