Frances Core Morgan, 91, of Auburn, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama. She was born on July 26, 1928 in Gary, Indiana.
Survivors include: five step-children, John (Barbara) Cason, Jr., Allen Cason, Anthony Cason, Barbara Cason and Karen Cason; God-daughter, Brianna King her fiancé and son, Zaybreon Stewart; a sister-in-law, Delores Morgan; a host of nieces, nephews from five generations, other relatives, church members and friends.
There will be no public viewing for Mrs. Morgan. Graveside Services will be held on Monday, April 20, 2020 at 12:00 PM at Green Chapel Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 390 Lee Road 106, Auburn, Alabama with Rev. Roland Austin officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Harris Funeral Home, 515 South 6th Street, Opelika, Alabama.
In an order and following the Alabama Department of Public Health recommendations concerning the Coronavirus Pandemic (COVID-19) effective March 28, 2020, the funeral service will be for the family only. All participants must maintain a consistent six-foot distance between all parties during the service.
