Eliza H. Christian was born to possibly a ship Captain (unconfirmed yet). Eliza's family may come from Charles City or southeast part of Virginia with the Christian family. Christian family is possibly not in relations to the other Christian family of Shenandoah County, Virginia (If you feel she is, contact this editor to share).

According to the Bolling diaries, she had a sister named Sarah Christian. Other information was not enough clues to fulfill her family tree. She was only known as Albert Bolling's wife and they married at White Hall (unknown yet whether it is a property name or a township in state of Virginia).

For further details, please contact Kathleen L. Brockway, a descendant of the Bollings as she is currently writing a book project on the history of deaf individual sketches in Virginia's early period. Kathleen has published two books in the past called "Baltimore's Deaf Heritage" (2014) and "Detroit's Deaf Heritage" (2016, co-wrote with Detroit Association of the Deaf). Contact Kathleen for speaking engagements through this editor.
