Philip R. Owen, 75, died peacefully on June 28, 2013.

He was born February 16, 1938.

He was employed by H. Crooker & Sons for many decades. He was a Navy veteran and loved to go camping and fishing.

He was predeceased by his parents, Harold H. Owen Sr. and Verlie U. Hammond Owen; a sister, Diane C. Blanchette; and brothers Paul C. Owen, Patrick D. Owen and Harold H. Owen Jr.

He is survived by his partner, Viola Lee; brothers, Robert A. Owen and wife Theresa, and Norman A. Owen and wife Doris; sisters, Judy H. Colarusso and Carol A. Ciciotte and husband William; son Jesse K. Owen and partner Kelley Dennison; daughter Susan Harrington and partner Don McKay; son, Philip Owen Jr.; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

At his request, there will be no services. A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers and cards, he would have liked you to go fishing with loved ones instead. It was something he dearly loved. He will be sorely missed.
