A funeral will be held Wednesday at 12 p.m. at Antioch Missionary Baptist church, 601 W. Elm Street. The Rev. Dr. Kenneth J. Tate will officiate. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery
Mrs. Parks is survived by one son, Dallas E. (Buster Jack) Atkinson of Goldsboro; one brother, Leslie Atkinson of Butner; one special niece, Linda A. Jordan of Goldsboro; three sisters-in-law, Juanita Atkinson of Goldsboro, Addie B. Gooding of Kinston, and Lupe Atkinson of New Mexico.
There will be a viewing held Tuesday (today) from 2 until 8 p.m. at Lightner Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 7 until 8 p.m., and other times at 309 W. Murray St., in Goldsboro.
