"Stevie" as he was affectionately known by many of his family entered the world and our hearts September 7, 1971 to Stanley and Gertrude Henning in Portsmouth, VA. Steve proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a salesman who sold meat and was about to start his own business until his life was cut short by his heart attack. He enjoyed sports and no matter where he lived he always found the local sportsbar to hang out with friends especially during football season. He loved his family and spent hours catching up with them on facebook or by calling them on the phone. He was so well loved than many of his friends from childhood considered him their brother. He was a loving father, brother, and friend. He will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish his memory are his son Steve of St. Rose, LA, and his daughter Ashley Rose Dalton-Chambeau who gave birth to his first grandbaby Sophia February 5, 2013 of Twin Falls, Idaho; two sisters Kathy and husband James McFarland and Karen and husband Glenn Fountain both of VA. Five nephews and three nieces from VA, David Rocheleau, Christian, Griffin, Nile and Kallin, Marcia Turner, Rachel Rocheleau, and Nia Fountain. One niece in Florida Leanna Rocheleau and two nieces in Louisiana Many and Ashley Henning. He was predeceased by both parents and all three brothers Henry, Rick, and Michael Henning. He was also predeceased by Sheri Schneider mother to his only son Steve.
