He was born on December 6, 1946 to the late Hood and Lillian Watts. In 2010, Mr. Watts retired from Entergy with 43 years of service. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Crystal Springs.
George was a husband, father, grandfather and friend to all who knew him. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Frankie Watts, of almost 53 years of marriage; son, George Watts, Jr. (Tania); His grandchildren Rivers, Reece, and Reed that were his pride and joy; sister, Florine “Sis” Stevenson (Ronnie) of Pineville, LA; brothers, Ronald Watts (Vickie) of Natchez, MS and Donald Watts (Sharon) of Greenbrier, AR; brother-in-law, Richard Blount of Costa Rica; and long-time family friend, Louise Burton of Crystal Springs. He also leaves a host of relatives and friends.
There will be a private graveside service at Old Crystal Springs Cemetery.
