Obituary of Evelyn Ingram Rogers
Evelyn Rogers, 96 of Huntsville, AL passed away on May 20, 2020. Evelyn was born in Dadeville, AL on August 11, 1923. She was preceded in death by her parents, Monroe and Laura Ingram; brothers, Orlando Ingram, Barrett Ingram, Leonard Ingram, Staley Ingram; sister, Irene Hamby; husband, Clarence Rogers; grandson, Bobby Rogers.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Jeff (Sue) Rogers, Butch (Rosemary) Rogers; daughters, Beverly (Doug) Gregory, Judy (Wayne) Westerhouse, Becky (Barry) Dunivant; grandchildren, Keith (Melissa) Rogers, Kelley (Matt) Fogarty, Jason (Suzette) Rogers, Drew (Mackenzie) Rogers, Matt (Suzanne) Gregory, Michael (Beth) Gregory, Mark (Holley) Gregory, Cooper Dunivant, Holly Dunivant, Emily (Will) Baker, Kasey (Daniel) Guinn, Jacob (Alex) Westerhouse, Jesse Westerhouse; 21 great grandchildren.
Evelyn was a Realtor. She was also a Presbyterian Deacon and active with the Samaritan’s Purse Organization. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A Private Graveside Service will be held on Friday, May 22, 2020 at 10:00am at Valhalla Memory Gardens in the Garden of the Good Shepherd. In lieu of flowers, the family request that a donation be made to a local food bank in Evelyn’s memory.
