He graduated Whitko High School with the Class of 1995 where he loved being on the basketball team. Jason loved sports and spending time with all of his family and enjoyed being outdoors. He had spent a considerable amount of time away from his hometown, traveling all across the United States; even ventured into the New Orleans area and worked construction after Hurricane Katrina.
Jason is survived by his twin brother, Jeremiah (Meghan) Stewart, brothers, Jake (Jordan) Osborn, Cody Osborn, Doug Patton and Steven Patton; mom, Barbara Stewart, biological mother, Janice Osborn; grandmother, Alice Stewart; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Cheyenne Stewart; and grandparents, Eugene "Whitey" and Pat Stewart, Colie and Edna McCool; and a nephew, Christopher Patton.
A gathering of family and friends will be 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive,Columbia City. Appropriate social distancing guidelines will be followed. A private funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday for his family. Guest are welcomed to listen to Jason's service from their cars in the funeral home parking lot or view the service after it has taken place online.
