Fannie Lucille Wood Swafford, 75, of Sulphur Rock died Sun, June 2, 2019.
She was born on Thursday, August 26, 1943 in Batesville to Asa Andrew and Mary Ella (White) Wood.
Fannie loved her family and their reunions very much. She also enjoyed cooking, sewing, and quilting.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Henry Swafford; two sons, Randy Swafford (Bridget) of Newark, Jamie Swafford of Newark; four brothers, Walter Wood (Helen) of Newport, Thurman Wood (Debra) of Michigan, Harry Wood (Carol) of Batesville, Earl Wood (Lisa) of Cushman; and six grandchildren.
Fannie is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Cecil Wood, Kenneth Wood, infant Lonnie Wood; two sisters, Mary McClure, infant Myrtyle Wood, and one grand-daughter, Bethany Swafford.
Pallbearers are Terry Wood, Brandon Wood, Johnny Wood, David Wood, James Wood, and Steve Lewis.
The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. at the Spring Mill Pentecostal Church Thursday, June 6, 2019 with Freddie Beard officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
Visitations will be held at the funeral home Wednesday from 6-8 p.m.
