Graveside service for James William “Jim” Pryor age 79 of Hillsboro, Tennessee will be Monday, May 4, 2020 at 4:00pm at Gilliam Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Arab with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 11:00am until 3:00pm Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. Pryor, who was born April 14, 1941 in Kentucky to Willie Dee Pryor Sr. and Bella Owens Pryor, died on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at his residence. He was a retired truck driver for Hutting Building Supply. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Jonathan William Pryor and a sister, Sue Huckabee.
He is survived by his wife, Stella Singleton Pryor; three sons, James Wendell Pryor (Tracey), Jason Wesley Pryor (Suzanne) and Jeffery Wayne Pryor; two daughters, Jennifer Lynn Pryor (Darren) and Joanie Lynn Pryor (Michael); one brother, Willie D. Pryor Jr.; two sisters, Mary Frances Alley and Ann Smith; 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren
Wesley Pryor, Jeffery Pryor, William Pryor, James Pryor, Joseph Pryor, Jeffery Dwayne Jones, Steve McCormick and Michael McCormick will serve as pallbearers.
