Mrs. Tammy Rashelle Lawrence Knight, age 52, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2020. She was born on November 12, 1967 in Atlanta, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Anthony Leon and Wanda Hammock Lawrence.

Tammy was a beautiful and caring person. Although she endured many years of serious medical problems, she never stopped putting the needs and welfare of others before her own. Her selfless devotion to her family and friends never wavered and was an inspiration to everyone who knew her. Tammy was much loved and will live on in the hearts of her husband and daughters forever. She will be sorely missed and will never be forgotten.

Tammy was an incredible person, and an even more incredible mother. She was one of the most giving and selfless people you could ever meet. She was constantly thinking of others and doing everything she could to make them happy, whether it was buying them the most heart-felt gifts or just saying something funny to make them laugh. She brought joy to everyone around her. Anyone who has ever met her knows what a kind, compassionate, and caring spirit she was. She touched so many lives in her time here on earth and her spirit and memory will live on through those who loved her.

Tammy was a very amazing and interesting woman. She meant the world to so many people. No matter what walk of life a person came from, no matter what mistakes they made, Tammy never was one to place judgement. She was always so selfless, especially when it came to her children. Regardless of whatever ailments she endured, she was always so hospitable and accommodating to those around her. Tammy was a precious soul, an outstanding mother, and a loving sister and wife. She will be missed dearly.
Mrs. Knight is survived by her husband, Thomas Rickey Knight; daughters, Honesty Knight Armer (Christopher) and Harmony Knight; sisters, Elizabeth Edwards and Sue Guest Driver; brothers, Joseph Lawrence (Donna) and Steven Lawrence (Kara); grandchild, Phoenix Armer; and several nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held for Mrs. Knight’s immediate family.
