Andrew, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on May 18, 2020. He was born June 25, 1928 in Lockerbie Scotland.

Drew was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Beck Campbell, Sr. and Agnes McMinn and his siblings. Drew married Margaret Anderson on Feb 14, 1955; they had 65 wonderful years of marriage. Drew and Margaret immigrated to the United States in 1958 and eventually settled in East Lansing, MI.

Drew was an accomplished stonemason, having completed the brickwork and construction of their homes. Drew was employed by Michigan State University for over 30 years and retired as the Business Manager for the Student Union.

Drew was a life-long bagpiper and piped for Special Olympics for over 20 years and other community and MSU events.

After retirement, Drew and his nephew walked the Southern Upland Way, from the west coast of Scotland to the east coast, an accomplishment of which he was very proud. Drew was hardworking, had a great sense of humor, told a story like nobody else and above all was a devoted husband and true gentleman.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret; sisters in law, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Per his wishes, services and burial will be private.

Memorials can be made in his name to Special Olympics of Michigan (Mt. Pleasant) or MSU.
