Wilson - Funeral Services for Mrs. Deanna Marie (Besherse) Williams, 74, formerly of Ringling is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday May 22, 2020 at the River of Life Pentecostal Church of Wilson with Bro. Jim Duck and Bro. Roy Vinson officiating. Interment will follow at Rubottom Cemetery. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson. Everyone attending services are encouraged and required to practice social distancing.

Deanna was born on October 10, 1945 at Ringling to the late Mr. William Haskell Besherse and Mrs. Josephine Francis (Jones) Besherse. She departed this life on May 18, 2020 at Ardmore.

Deanna was raised attending school at Claypool and later at Ringling High School, graduating in 1963. She met Jimmie Williams of Rubottom at a school activity and they dated for six months before marrying on Oct. 31, 1964 at Wilson. They have been residents of this area all of their lives together.

Deanna worked outside the home mostly at the Ardmore Wal- Mart as the manager of the lay-away department. Before she was employed at Turner Schools as a cook and at the Pants factory of Ringling. She was also known for attending the entry gates at most of the Ringling Blue Devils sporting activities for a number of years.

Deanna never met a stranger, always loving to visit with whomever she came in contact with. She loved to sew, cook and play the piano. She was a member of the River of Life Pentecostal Church of Wilson.

Preceding her in death were her parents; infant daughter, Dianna Michelle Williams; sisters, Loretta Price, Loritta Wingard and Helen Hart and a brother, Frank Besherse.

Survivors include her husband, Jimmie A. Williams of Ardmore; daughter, Donna Curtis and husband Freddie of Ardmore; grandson, Jamy Casteel and wife Monica of Lone Grove; granddaughters, Kayla Roberts of Ardmore and Dia Johnson of Oklahoma City; great grandchilden, Emily, Olivia and Braden Casteel, Kinzley and Dallie Johnson, Kaylin King, Maleah and Paisley Roberts; brother, Haskell Besherse and wife Bertha of Waurika; numerous other family and friends.

Casket Bearers are Thad Kassheimer, Freddie Curtis, Jeremiah Hawley, Lance McCarty, Stephen McCleskey and Greg McCleskey.

Family visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Thursday evening at the funeral home of Wilson.
