Son of Claudie and J. Nolan RamboJerry Mack Rambo, 77, of Wichita Falls, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls with Pastor Tom Wisdom officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.

A son of the late James Nolan and Claudia Mae (Kidd) Rambo, Jerry was born on September 6, 1939 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He worked for many years at Western Union delivering telegrams on a bicycle all across Wichita Falls, and was a longtime employee at Dillard's Department Store. Jerry was a member of the Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed painting and making latch-hook rugs, talking on CB Radios, driving around looking at the country side, and loved trains. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Jim Rambo.

He is survived by his cousins, Nancy Bigbie and husband Mike of Electra, Jim Gill and wife Ann of Houston, Jane Gill Lamb and husband Jerry of Peyton, Colorado, Mark Kidd and wife Becky of Houston, and Betsy Ruth Deiterman of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and his sister-in-law, Carol Rambo of Lawton, Oklahoma.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until the start of the service at Owens and Brumley in Wichita Falls.
