Mrs. Nora Jean Conner Smith, 69, passed away suddenly Friday afternoon (May 29, 2020) at Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross.
She was born in Uvalda, GA to the late Ted Conner and Ida Faye Willis Conner ; also preceded in death by her late husband William Keller.
She was the former owner and operator of Smith Sheet Metal, Heating, and Air.
She is survived by her three children:
Melissa Meyers of Homeland,
James Howell (Marianne) of Nahunta,
Shawn Smith of Homeland;
11 grandchildren;
14 great grandchildren
three sisters,
Betty Joyce Welchman of Woodbine, GA,
Edith Geiger of Uvalda, GA,
Brenda “Kitty” Womble of Loris, SC;
one brother,
Jurl Lamar Conner of East Dublin, GA;
and numerous nieces and nephews.
