J. Joan Lynch, nee Smith, age 81, of Columbia, IL, formerly of Belleville, IL, born March 4, 1933, in East St. Louis, IL, died on Tuesday, October 14, 2014, at Columbia Rehab and Nursing Center, in Columbia, IL.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred J. Lynch; her son in infancy, Patrick Edward Brooks; her parents, Leslie and Loretta, nee Wolfer, Smith; and her sister, Dorothy Shay.
She was survived by her son, H. Michael, her daughter, Jonnie; her granddaughter, Holly; her grandson, Daniel; her great grandchildren, Addison and Brayden; her sister Susan (Skip) Astrauskas. Joan was our loving aunt, cousin and friend.
