Kenneth C. Boyd, 65, of Fairfield, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at his residence. Kenneth was born November 21, 1954 in Midland, Texas to parents Elton Allen and Patsy Ruth Trammell Boyd. He graduated from Texas Tech University in Lubbock in 1978 with a Bachelor’s degree in wildlife biology. He had been a resident of Freestone County for 28 years moving from Athens, TX. He married Becky Donaldson on May 12, 1992 in Fairfield. He retired after 20 years from Standard Labs where he was employed as a lab technician where he was responsible for testing coal. Kenneth loved to hunt, fish and collect guns. He also had a love for golf. He loved his friends and family very much. He was preceded in death by his parents.
