Sarah Ann Russell, 86 of Springdale passed away Sunday, May 17, 2020 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale.
She was born August 22, 1933 in Tontitown, Arkansas to Joseph Taldo and Dora Sbanotto.

Sarah was a homemaker. She loved her family and especially her great-grandchildren, who called her “Nonie”. She was spunky, sassy, and loved to joke. Sarah took great pride in her Italian heritage and was a devout member of the Catholic Church. She was a stranger to no one and would talk to anyone she met. Sarah loved everyone and was loved by everyone.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James L. Russell; two sisters, Katy Hovey and Beatrice Mussino; and three brothers, Raymond Taldo, Freddie Taldo, and Joe Taldo.

Her survivors include her two sons; James Russell and wife Michele of Missouri and Richard Russell of Tontitown; one daughter, Leann St. Mary and husband William of Tontitown; two sisters, Ida Brady and husband Bob of Georgia, and Patsy Graham of Springdale; four grandchildren, Brandi Drake, Stefanie Foote, Josh Drake, and Candice Muiller and Dustin Wade; and seven great-grandchildren, Jacob, Colin, Paige, Landon, Luke, Nathan,and Olivia,

Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, May 22, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tontitown. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
