Predeceased by three beloved husbands: Eugene Walter Able, Benjamin Watson Crouch and James Rainsford Cantelou. Survived by four children, Barbara A. Burton of Atlanta, Eugene Walter Able, Jr. of Tuscaloosa, AL, Virginia N. Able of Pelzer and Patricia C. Alexander of Columbia. Predeceased by sisters, Margaret B. Chadwick, Mildred C. Holley and brother, Col. Junius W. Chadwick. Survived by sister, Doris C. McKinney of Greenville, five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
The family appreciates and thanks the beloved aides and caretakers who have ministered to her over the past several years, Terry A. Mathis for his careful and ever-faithful assistance, Rev. Gary Romines and the caring members at Red Bank Baptist Church who never forgot or overlooked her during her declining years.
The family will celebrate her life and love in a private memorial service. In Lieu of flowers she would be honored by donations to individual favorite charities.
