BILLY F SKIPPER
COTTONWOOD - Billy Frank Skipper. 49, Cottonwood Rt 1, died Friday afternoon at his home following a long illness.
Services will be at 10 am Monday in the Ephesus Baptist Church, Jackson County, Fla, with the Rev Morea Taylor officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Ward-Wilson Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. The body will be at the funeral home in Dothan until one hour prior to services when it will be placed in the church. Full military rites will be conducted.
A native of Houston County, he had lived most of his lifetime in the Cottonwood area. He was a retired farmer. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion and was past commander of the Cottonwood post.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Jeanne Taylor Skipper, Cottonwood Rt 1; a grandson, Jonathan Skipper Exum, Cottonwood Rt 1; his mother, Mrs. Ruby Skipper, Cottonwood Rt 1; and a brother, James Barnett Skipper, Cottonwood Rt 1.
