He leaves to treasure his legacy: his children, Brian Twitty (Angela), TaCarra Bell (Ronald), DeAndre Cooper, and Shanika Cooper (Durand); grandchildren, Brianna Twitty, Alyssa Twitty, Alexandria Twitty, Aaliyah Twitty, Lailah Dean, and Durand Dean, Jr.; sisters, Corine Parker (William), Shirley Brown (Quincy), Diane Staton (Jerry), Retha Lee (Robert), and Gloria Williams (Delvin), and Darlene Hawkins; brothers, Willie Hawkins (Amelia), William Hawkins (Alicia), and Christopher Hawkins; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be on Thursday, May 14, 2020 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Poole's Funeral Chapels, 1501 7th Avenue, North, Birmingham, Alabama.

Graveside Services will be held on Friday, May 15, 2020 at 12:00 PM at Warrior Cemetery, 499 10th Street, Warrior, Alabama. Arrangements by Poole's Funeral Chapels, 1501 7th Avenue, North, Birmingham, Alabama.
