BYRON, GA- Jerry Ross, 78, passed away at his residence on Monday, May 11, 2020. He was born on March 24, 1942 in Delaware, Ohio to the late Fred H. Ross and Ruth G. (Legg) Van Fossen. Jerry worked most of his life in construction and home repairs. Many might remember him as the “Georgia Contractor”. Jerry loved watching NASCAR racing and drinking Coors Light. He also enjoyed spending time with his cat, Bootsie. Jerry is preceded in death by his wife of fifty-five years, Carolyn Ross.
Left to cherish his memory is his son, Terry L. (Christa) Ross of Ohio, his daughter, Sheryl (Ron) Cutrell of Centerville, Georgia, and his grandchildren, Jennifer (Dom) Ross of Ohio and Jerrod Cutrell of Centerville, Georgia.
