DECEASED: Mr. Hershel Ray Wilson age 86 of Alpine, TN passed away on Wednesday night February 28, 2018 at the Signature Healthcare in Cookeville, TN.
PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mr. Hershel Ray Wilson was born in Crawford, TN on March 8, 1931 to the late Joe P. and Cora Lee Hoover Wilson. Hershel taught school for nine years before going to work for Union Bank and Trust and worked there for 38 years until retirement. He loved his family especially his grandchildren; he loved farming and gardening and loved to watch TN Tech play ball and also loved to watch wheel of fortune. Hershel will be missed by his family and all who knew him.

Copeland Cemetery located in the Alpine Community of Overton Co. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening March 2, 2018 starting at 5 PM until 8 PM with a Masonic and Eastern Star service a 7 PM.
