Anna McCraw Roberts, 65, of Magee, Mississippi, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2020, at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi. She was born Tuesday, February 8, 1955, in Raleigh, Mississippi.
Graveside Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, May 20, 2020, at 3:00 p.m. at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery in Magee, Mississippi. Bro. Jay Wesbrooks will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031
Mrs. Roberts was a resident of Magee, Mississippi. She loved taking care of her patients as a nurse. She loved her two girls, grandchildren, and her cat “Gabby”. She loved to sew and was an avid reader. She had a love for people and would go out of her way to help anyone she could.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Randall McCraw and Helen Halford Tullos; grandparents, Luther and Ethel McCraw.
Survivors include two daughters, Jolie Roberts Freeman and husband, Jeryl of Mendenhall and Brooke Roberts Little and husband, Shane of Magee; three grandchildren, Dylan McClellan, Ashleigh Russell, and Tristan Freeman; step-mother, Barbara McCraw of Mize; four sisters, Shannon Ware and husband James of Mize, Ramona Varner and husband Keith of Magee, Becky McCraw of Mize, and Lisa Mason and husband Lonnie of Mize; three brothers, Randy McCraw and wife Anita of Mt. Olive, Horace Barr, Jr. and wife Karol of Perry, Florida, and Rusty Kirby and wife Samantha of Tennessee; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
