Clara June Jenkins, 69, went to be with our Heavenly Father on May 17th, 2020. She was born May 11th, 1951 in Oklahoma City, OK. Clara was married to Jerry Stettnisch in 1968 and raised two children, Chris and Sharla, in Blackwell, OK. She enjoyed china painting, golfing, fishing and traveling. Once the children left the home, she went back to school to become a nurse. In 2000, Clara married James Jenkins and moved to Oklahoma City. She worked in nursing for over 30 years in both Blackwell and Oklahoma City and loved the people she worked with. Clara loved country music, movies like Steel Magnolias, The Andy Griffith Show and her dog, Cody. You couldn’t go to her house without seeing Coca Cola and white powdered donuts on the countertop.

Clara is survived by ex-spouse, Jerry Stettnisch and ex-spouse, James Jenkins; two children and their spouses, Chris Stettnisch (Ginny) and Sharla Colbert Dunbar (Hurley); grandchildren, Bailey, Xeven, Lauren, Molly, Joel, Carter, Cash and Cheyenne; sisters, Ramona, Jackquline and Elaine. She was preceded in death by parents, Jack and DeVeirl Miller; brothers, Ricky and Rocky; and sisters, Sandra, Lahoma, Etta, and Roxanna.

Funeral services have been set for Friday, May 22nd, 2020 at 1:00pm at Mercer-Adams Funeral Home in Bethany, OK.
