Funeral services honoring her life will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 22, 2020 at Schilling Funeral Home with Pastor Norman Stark officiating. Burial will follow at Dodge Grove Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 12:00 p.m. until time of service on Friday, May 22, 2020 at Schilling Funeral Home. Schilling Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Vivian was born on January 29, 1926 in Mattoon, IL the daughter of William Francis Cowger and Virgie (Rowak) Cowger. She married Stanley Owen Miller. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include her sons, Buck Miller of Bettendorf, IA Danny (Pam) Miller of Arkansas, and Stanley Jr. of Florida; son-in-law, Cecil Scanlan of rockfalls, IL; daughter-in-law, Julie Miller of Moline, IL; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; special friends at her assisted living facility.
She was preceded in death by her parents; child at birth Eddy; daughter-in-law, Maria Miller; Jerry Curtner, Sarah Jane Miller and Betty Scanlan.
Vivian had a great love for sewing, she especially liked to make quilts. She enjoyed visiting with her friends. Vivian was very involved in the community center at her assisted living facility. She took part in their church service and group potlucks. Vivian will be deeply missed by all.
