Hampton - Edla Davis Page, 82, a Peninsula resident for 44 years, died Sunday, June 7.
A native of Gloucester, she taught at Woodrow Wilson High Elementary School in Newport News and Achilles High School in Gloucester for 32 years.
She was a 1931 graduate of James Madison University and was a member of Newport News Woman's Club, the Hampton Arts Club and Alpha Delta Kappa sorority.
Mrs. Page was a member of First Presbyterian Church and the Women of the Church.
Survived by her husband, Henry C. Page Sr.; a son, Henry C. Page Jr. of Richmond; and two grandchildren.
Visitation from 7 to 8:30 tonight at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home. Funeral at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home by the Rev. George L. Oehler.
Burial in Parklawn Memorial Park.
