HOWARD, Jimmie, 88, of Clarksville, passed away at his home on Friday May 15, 2020. Born March 15, 1932 in Salyersville, KY to Bob and Polly Howard, Jimmie worked for many years at Frigidaire. A man of faith, he had attended the First Church of God. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Cordis, Carl and Prater Howard, his sisters, Tamzie Lehman and Edna Huddleson and his beloved wife of 68 years, Martha Jane Howard.
He is survived by two sons, James Michael Howard of Clarksville and Robert (Terry) Howard of Clarksville, two daughters, Connie (Jerry) Howard-Mays of Clarksville and Sherry Howard of Maineville, six grandchildren, Regina (Cyrus), Sondra (Mark), Nicki (Steven), Angela, Heather, and Danielle, and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
A private service will be held at the request of the family at the Vale Hoskins Funeral Home in Morrow. Reverend Paul Gilkison will officiate. Interment will follow in Edwardsville Cemetery.
