During his younger years, Dominique enjoyed playing Little League Baseball and Football. In his spare time he was notably known for riding his motorbike and four-wheeler, and making sure he was looking his best. Other past-time/hobbies he relished in included: Fishing, hunting, and bow and arrow shooting.

He leaves to cherish his memories: His mother, Naturcha (Derrick) Robertson; his father, Jerry Brown; his five children, Damarri James, Mason James, Christiana Ramsey, Tamara Miller, and Jaden Miller; His fiance' Shala Ramsey; two sisters, Xaveria (Roman) Connerson and Maysha Owens; three brothers Jerrime (Aristine) James, Chaz'mon James, and Justin Watson; four aunts, Tiesha (Derrick) Myles, Anita Brown, Paulette Brown, and Janette Brown; one uncle, Antonio (Markeeta) Peters; one great-aunt, Carryn Chatmon; one great uncle, Robert Edwards; nieces and nephews, Xiren James, Jamarious James, Jiren Forbes, Kylie James,Jordyn Connerson, Blessyn James, Jerimiah Gatlin and Raelyn Morris; special cousins, Marlon Myles Mariah Myles, Makaylay Peters, Eric Bryant, Lovelyn Bryant, Linzie Scott, Jamel Scott, and Kalilah Scott.

Dominique was preceded in death by his grandparents-maternal, Wyner (Willie) Whittine and Albert Z. James, paternal-Dlester Brown and Willie D. Johnson and a cousin, Antonio (Mookie) Brown.

Funeral Service will be on Saturday, May 16, 2020 at 1:00 PM at The Kingdom of God Church, 814 Union Avenue, Bogalusa, Louisiana 70427.

Cook Richmond Funeral Home, in Franklinton, is in charge of arrangements.

Dominique James was last seen in Bogalusa on May 2, 2020 around noon, and was reported missing on May 6. His body was found on May 9 in his car during a search of a wooded area a few miles west of Bogalusa, investigators said Friday. The Bogalusa Police Department has now changed their efforts to a homicide investigation.
