Obituary
Kenneth Lee Lindsey was born on July 29, 1955 in Alexandria, Minnesota, the son of Lloyd (Buster) and Gayle (Olson) Lindsey. He was raised in Alexandria and graduated from Jefferson High School.
Kenny served his country in the United States Navy. He was proud of his service and was honorably discharged in May of 1979. He was a member of the American Legion.
After his service Kenny started his career in truck driving. He followed in his father's and older brother Tom shoes in the truck driving career. Throughout his career he traveled throughout the Southern and Western part of the United States. Some trips he would take Randi and Sara with him and these were fond memories the girls have of being with their dad.
Kenny was a man that was always there for his girls. He would check on them daily and make sure that everything was ok and was always there to help if needed. A true testament of the love he had for his daughters. He was also a hardworking man who was non- judgmental, kind and caring.
Kenny’s love was his family and spending time with them camping, fishing, going to races and four wheeling. He also enjoyed time muzzle hunting with his son-in-law’s, Jayme & Ryan.
Kenny died on Friday, April 10, 2020. He is survived by his two daughters: Randi Olson of Alexandria, Sara Lindsey (Ryan Augeson); grandchildren: Jaylen Shears, Kelby Olson, Kaeley Lindsey, Torrey Olson, Treyton Olson; Cody Augeson, Madelynn Augeson, Kyler Augeson, brother, Jerry Lindsey (Terrie); Uncle, Tom (Janet) Lindsey; Aunt, Margie (Carlyn) Steen; nieces Julianna Lindsey, Kelli (Mitchell) Hercules; nephews: Ryan (Rachel) Lindsey, Shaun Lindsey, Josh Lindsey, many cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Buster & Gayle; brothers: Randy & Tommy; sister, Kathy and son-in-law, Jayme.
May our dad rest in peace and blessed be his memory.
