Paul and Jason Teel
DEMING - Paul and Jason Teel, father and son, of Roswell and Wolfforth, Texas, respectively, died Tuesday, June 13, 1995, in a two-vehicle accident between Deming and Lordsburg. Services for the two are set for 2 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church in Roswell with the Rev. Wallace R. Johnson.
Arrangements are under the direction of Ballard Funeral Home of Roswell.
Paul Teel was born March 27, 1956, in Roswell, to William Frank Holloway and Bonnie Faye Gilman. He was self-employed with a Rotor-Rooter business in Roswell for 15 years and was a member of Christ's Church.
He is survived by his father, of Corpus Christi, Texas; mother, of Roswell; son, Benjamin Scott Teel of Wolfforth, Texas; brother, Michael Leon Teel of Roswell; stepbrothers, Randle Ray Teel of Albuquerque and Michael Duane Teel of Artesia; sisters, Delana Marie Sexton to Carlsbad and Teresa Lorraine Bryant of Roswell; grandmother, Marie Tedder of Albuquerque; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jason Teel was born May 17, 1978, in Carlsbad, to Paul Calvin Teel and Belva Lin Sanderson. He was a student at Friendship High School in Wolfforth, where he was a member of the debate team. He excelled in math and science and was listed n Who's Who Among American High School Students.
He was also a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Wolfforth, where he was active with the church youth activities. In addition to his father's survivors, he survived by his mother, of Wolfforth; and grandparents, Lee and Doris Sanderson of Lubbock.
Johnny Boyd, Mitch Lee, Rodney Price, Scott Verhines, Robert Manthei, Mario Reid and A.E. Atkinson are honorary Pallbearers.
