Dorothy Knight, 79 of Call, died Saturday, May 16, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.

Graveside services will be 1:00 pm Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Trout Creek cemetery.

She was baptized as one of Jehovah's witnesses on October 10, 1992, (Ps. 83:18) and has served faithfully ever since. When she was no longer able to attend meeting in person, she would try by telephone line. She always did what she could to put God's Kingdom first in her life. (mat. 6:33, 34).

Her love for animals is well known. She could not pass up a stray cat or dog. She also loved fishing and kept her fishing tackle ready. She considered her chickens to be part of her family and kept them well fed. She enjoyed sharing her yard eggs with friends.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, Rubin and Lillie Wilkerson; husband, John Knight.

She is survived by sisters, Cora Mae Hebert and Doris Pollock; many friends she considered her brothers and sisters.

Dorothy looked forward to the fulfilment of Rev. 21: 3, 4 (3) which says: "With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say, Look the tent of God will be with mankind and he will be with them (4) and he will wipe out every tear from their eyes , death will be no more nor outcry be any more, the former things have passed away."Services pending at Adams Funeral Home in Kirbyville, Texas.
