Son of William and Linda (Lawson) Murphy of Bridgewater. He was a graduate of BR Class of 1989, and served in the U.S. Marine Corps. After his service, he began a long career in telecommunications which began in the Local 2223 for 19 years, and most recently he was a member of the Local 103 with McDonald Electric Corp. of Hingham. He met Corrine G Cooney at his nephew's football game in 2013. He is survived by his wife Corinne, and his stepston, Thomas J Cooney; siblings, Kelly Murphy-Whiting (Bill) of Bridgewater, Ryan Murphy (Melissa) of Raynham; nephews and neices, Michael Whiting, Zachary Whiting, Kaylie Whiting and Liana Murphy.
