Pat grew up in Falls Church VA, and graduated from Falls Church High School class of 1972. He attended college and graduated from Virginia Tech, class of 1976.
Pat has lived and worked in Germany, Virginia Beach, VA, Oceanside California, Clearwater Florida, and finished his career with Navy Federal Credit Union as an Executive Underwriter in Vienna VA, for 20 years.
Pat came back from Florida to look after his mother and father as his father was in decline and could no longer drive. His mother never learned to drive. After his father passed in December of 1999 just days after his parent’s 52nd wedding anniversary, he looked after his mother for 18 years until she passed.
Pat lived and loved life, loved his many friends, and especially his family. He was a huge Washington Nationals and Virginia Tech Hokies fan. He never missed sending cards for birthdays for his family and close friends. Always thoughtful, kind, and generous. His spirit was infectious and he loved to be around his family and friends.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and the world will not be the same without him.
He is with the Lord now. No longer in pain, breathing on his own, walking and dancing in Heaven with his Mother and Father and passed relatives and friends.
