Paul Bryan Moss, age 57, was a US Navy Veteran for three and a half years, and also was a Merchant Marine for twenty-four years.

He passed away peacefully after a short, trying battle with Cancer on May 9, 2020.

He was surrounded by his wife, Diane of seven years, and Charge Nurse Marmar at the Michael DeBakey VA Hospital.

Paul was born on October 31, 1962, in Panama to William Jennings and Paulina F. Moss.

Paul is preceded in death by both his parents and his baby brother John Andrew Moss.

Paul leaves behind his wife, Diane Kathleen Moss; Step-daughters, Diana Lynn White and Sarah Elizabeth White; his sister, Doris Gordon Moss, and niece, Jacqueline L. Gordon; Brother, Raul Ducason Farladansky and his wife, Ines; sister-in-law, Deborah Ann Peters; brother-in-law, Joseph Adolph Engbrock, Jr; two step-grandsons Emmett Wesley Holzschuh and Levi Crosby-Holzschuh; along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Paul is a 1982 graduate at J. Frank Dobie High School and a 1989 graduate of San Jacinto College.

Paul spent his time enjoying every moment with his family and service dog, Lilly; window-shopping, going to Galveston with his wife; baking and cooking; he loved going out to eat four times every month.

Paul was an avid television watcher and loved watching crime shows.

He loved watching the Food Network and often joked that the pioneer woman, Ree Drummond, and Paula Deen were his girlfriends.

Paul always spoke the truth and always gave people direct answers.

It was an honor to be married to my husband.

I feel very blessed that he loved me and I will always remember the happy memories.

I will hold those memories close to my heart. Rest in peace, my dear, sweet and handsome husband.

Immediate Burial Service will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2020, at 1:00 pm at the Houston National Cemetery at 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr. Houston, TX 77038 (All are welcome to attend, but are asked to please stay in their vehicles during burial.)
