Carl Henry Keller, 79, of Crossett, died Monday, May 18, 2020, at his residence. Mr. Keller was a native of Sledge, Mississippi and a resident of Crossett for the past 55 years. He was a Millwright for the Georgia-Pacific Corporation for 42 years, having retired in 2006. Mr. Keller was a veteran of the United States Army, a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of the Crossett Masonic Lodge #576, where he served as District Deputy Grand Master for the years of 1999 and 2000 and past Crossett Masonic Lodge Master for the years of 1996, 2008 and 2013. He was a member of the Cloverdale Assembly of God Church. Mr. Keller’s love of all sports led him to coach baseball to half of the kids in Crossett, where he was known as Papaw to many. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Mr. Keller adored his grandchildren and loved spending time with them and enjoyed being involved with all of their activities.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Patricia Ann Norrell Keller in 2018; a son, Jeff Keller in 2003 and his parents, Henry and Levery Gregg Keller.
He is survived by a daughter, Wendy Keller Hall of Crossett; a son, Carl Keller, Jr., and wife, Melissa, of Hidden Valley Lake, California; six grandchildren, Ashley Maxwell, Josh Keller, Dusty Keller, Courtney Keller, Kersh Hall and Deuce Hall and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside services are 2 p.m., Thursday, May 21, 2020, in the Carlock Cemetery with Bro. David Williams officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Jim Moffatt, Greg Watt, Greg Sivils, Tom Arrn and Jason Johnston. Memorials may be made to the Crossett Masonic Lodge #576, PO Box 1048, Crossett, AR 71635.
