He moved his family to Jacksonville to begin a new career. Jack, also known as “Pete”by his railroad friends, began his railroad career in 1957. He retired from CSX after 34 year of service. Since his retirement he returned to his love of farming and gardening and has enjoyed the last 29 years of being at home.
Jack is predeceased by his mother, Maggie Fullwood and step -father Tommy Fullwood, His daughter, Marcele, and step-grandson Johnaton. He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn. His children, Francis, Hosie, Jackie and Char; his step daughters, Brenda and Donna, 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and a close relationship with cousins Donnie & Marilyn and their children Hugh and Mandy and cousin Ann along with a host of family and friends.
Jack never met a stranger, he talked to everyone about topics that interested them. He was well read and enjoyed researching the wide variety of subjects he found interesting. He was an excellent carpenter, and an overall handyman. There was rarely a task that was too big for him to tackle.
He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by those closest to him.

Saturday May 16, Frasers Funeral Home, Normandy Blvd, from 3:30 – 8:00 PM
Sunday, May 17, Hope For Life Baptist Church, Ramona Blvd. from 2:00 – 5:00 PM
Funeral Services will be held starting at 5:00 PM on Sunday after visitation.
Interment will be held at a later date due to restrictions at the National Cemetery.
