Born on June 21, 1961 in Cobleskill, he has been a lifelong area resident and graduated from the former Cobleskill Central School.
As a young adult he enjoyed working at Romain’s Service Station. Keith later worked as a correction officer at Green Haven C.F., Coxsackie C.F., and retiring from Summit S.I.C.F. in 2011 with 30 years of service.
Keith served as the president of the Cobleskill Rescue Squad from 2011 until 2019 and was a devoted ambulance driver.
An avid reader, he had a strong interest in history and loved to share stories about his life. Keith also enjoyed classic TV and movies along with traveling to Lancaster and Hershey, PA with his family. He took great pride in his family, home and vehicles.
Cherishing his special memories are his wife, Barbara Jean (Warner) Pierce, whom he married September 18, 1987; his two daughters: Ashley Pierce of Sharon Springs and Patricia (Joshua) Draves of Harford, PA; his parents: William and Patricia (Sperbeck) Pierce of Howes Cave; and his sister, Deborah Pierce of Cobleskill.
