On Sunday, December 3, 2017 Brian Green was served his last call here with us.

Brian was a resident of Grand Forks all 59 years of his life, the son of Gerald and Marjorie (Jensen) Green. Brian grew up going to school in Grand Forks, graduating from Grand Forks Central.

Those who knew Brian knew he was a true gift and to be his friend was a real pleasure. Brian, BG, Bri-Guy, BG Construction, whatever nickname you called him, was a social butterfly making his presence known and heard wherever he went. Brian's unique laugh and contagious smile were his signature mark. Brian was a kind man who just plain and simple liked to have fun. He lived life one day at a time enjoying the things that truly made him happy; his family, friends, spending time at the lake, Fighting Sioux Hockey, the Minnesota Vikings, The Broken Drum, chicken wings, and an ice cold Bud Light.

Brian married the love of his life, Cindy (Lunski) on August 4, 1979 in Grand Forks, ND. They built a beautiful life together filled with love, laughter, two children; Danny and Justine, and many, many, many dogs and cats. What Brian and Cindy shared was a love one can only hope to find in their lifetime. Brian's life was flipped upside down on March 6, 2012 when Cindy passed away unexpectedly.

After Cindy's passing, Brian continued to operate Brian Green Construction that he established in 1997. He was fortunate enough to work alongside his son, Danny each day; forming an unbreakable bond between the two. Recently, Brian was able to walk his daughter, Justine down the aisle. It was a very proud moment for Brian to see the wonderful wife and mother Justine had become.

He loved watching his grandchildren; Jerzee race go-carts, Gracie dance and Easton play hockey. He still found happiness in life, but there was always something missing. We find some comfort in the fact that he is now back with his Cindy watching us all from above.

Brian is survived by his loving children; Danny (Jessica) Green, Justine (Luke) Bueligen, and his grandchildren; Gracie, Easton, and Jerzee. He is also survived by his 11 brothers and sisters.

Brian is preceded in death by his better half, Cindy Green, parents; Gerald and Marjorie Green, brother Jeffrey Green, and nephews James Foy and Troy Green.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am on Monday, December 11th at St. Michael's Catholic Church. There will be a visitation from 3-5pm at Amundson Funeral Home on Sunday, December 10th with a prayer service at 5:00 p.m.
