He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served in the Vietnam War. Daniel was a member of Woodman of the World and a member of GPAA. He was of Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Horald Victor Emil Johansen and Edna Lorinda Laduke Taylor; sibilings, Debbie Scroggins, Wayman Schmit, Nina Sparenberg and Jack Johansen.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Bethanie Darlene Johansen; children, Tia Johansen Ray and Keisha Johansen; grandchildren, Caleb Lee Johansen Crisp and Jenna Beth Crisp; siblings, Phyllis McDonald, Rick Johansen, Anna Davis, Allen Johansen, Edith Wilson, Leonard Greenlee and Penny Breedlove; special brother, O.C. Fisher and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday May 18, 2020 in the chapel of Fike- Randolph and Son Funeral home Pastor Raymond Albright officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens.
