He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Ruby Rogers; nephew, Tony Guinn.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years Laverne Rogers; sons and daughters-in-law, Rondal and Diedre Rogers of Cohutta, Stephen Rogers of Chatsworth, Jeffery and Vanessa Rogers of Gainesville; adopted son, Nacho Hernandez; grandchildren, Alex, Sam, Tori and Nathan Moree, Avery, Emilie, Dilland, Jacob, Lexi and Cody Stinnett, Levi Wilson; great-grandchildren, Hayden Hunter, Noah, Liam, and Luca; brother and sister-in-law, Eddie and Brenda Guinn; nephew Chuck and Amy Guinn and family.
The family will receive friends at Julian Peeples Funeral Home on Monday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Burial will be at Bethel Church Cemetery.
