Mr. Sam King age 91 of Town Creek School Rd. Blairsville passed away peacefully on Thursday May 14, 2020 in the Union General Hospital. Mr. King was born on December 17, 1928 in Union County, the son of the late Clabe King and the late Kate Dyer King. He was a native and lifelong resident of Union County. He had previously owned and operated Sunrise Grocery for numerous years. He was always outgoing and loved people and loved his family. Sam was of the Baptist faith.
A burial was held on Saturday May 16, 2020 at from the Old Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. A Celebration of Sam’s Life will be held at a later date and will be announced.
