Patricia A. “Patty” Powers, age 57, of Peoria, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2020 at her home from complications with cancer.
Patty was born on August 11, 1962 in Peoria, a daughter of Edward T. and Rita A. (Muller) Powers. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Larry Dennis.
Surviving are her partner and soul-mate, Matthew Smith of Peoria, two daughters, Staci Payton of Florida and Anna Powers (Zachary Voice) of Peoria, two sons, Samuel Powers of Peoria and Nicholas Smith of Jefferson City, MO, two granddaughters, Lyla Ford and Arya Voice, both of Peoria, as well as two brothers, Jim (Becky) Powers of Michigan and Edward (Andrea Fowler) Powers of Maine, and two sisters, Peggy (Rick) O’Neal of MO and Teresa (Tom) Baumann of OH.
Patty was a life-long employee of the OSF Business Office in Peoria, last working at ACT Holdings. She was a lovely lady who always had a smile on her face. Patty was the sunshine of many peoples’ lives. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and co-workers.
Cremation Rites have been accorded.
A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
