Edward William Morgan, Sr. (Fuzzy) of Brooklyn, New York, went home to be with the Lord early Tuesday morning, May 23, 2017. He was 71 years old.

A decorated Viet Nam Veteran, Fuzzy was a Helicopter Gunner in the Marine Corp. He was employed as a "Peace Officer" for the City of New York Board of Education and served as a Security Officer as well. In his retirement years he enjoyed teaching children in Brooklyn how to fish in the Bowery. He loved spending time with his family, listening to old, old family stories and boating and fishing on Greenwood Lake, NY. He also loved his dog(s) that always took the ride from Brooklyn with him.

Fuzzy is survived by his wife Barbara, son Edward W. Morgan II and wife Patrice Morgan, son Kenneth, grandson Edward W. Morgan, III of Los Angeles, CA; four sisters and four brothers; Patricia A. Dean (Pat) and husband Ervin Dean of Norristown, PA, Vincent G. Morgan, Jr. (Grant) of New Windsor, NY, Charles B. Morgan, Sr. (Porky) and friend Andy Lambert of Greenwood Lake, NY, Rita M. Van Dunk of Middletown, NY, Marvin Morgan (Tojo) and wife Petra Morgan of North Carolina, Margaret E. Milligan (Peg) of Washingtonville, NY, Dennis C. Morgan (Hotrod) and wife Robin Morgan of Greenwood Lake, NY and Sylvia V. Gerou (Sybi) and husband Georgios Gerou of Mahwah, NJ and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents Vincent G. Morgan, Sr. and Margaret D. Morgan, sister Betty Joyce Morgan, brother Robert E. Morgan, grandparents Raymond Williams, Sr. & Elmira Williams and Elmer & Daisy Mae Jackson, aunt Alice L. Coles, uncle Raymond Williams, Jr., nephew Ervin V. Dean, Mr. & Mrs. Holder of Brooklyn, NY, and his dear friend Ron Calloway of Brooklyn, NY.

A Memorial Service will be held at Scarr Funderal Home, Suffern, NY on Tuesday, May 30th at 1:00 p.m. followed by the Repast at Ramapo Reformed Church, 100 Island Road, Mahwah, NJ 07430.
