AMIRO, Donna Marie – Brooklyn, Yarmouth Co., passed away February 2, 2013 at Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born March 17, 1947 in Yarmouth, she was a daughter of Mary (Forbes) Flemming and the late Freeman Forbes. Donna will be sadly missed by Joe, her husband of 44 years, and all of his family. She is survived by her mother, Mary; a sister, Judy (Larry) Amero, Weymouth Falls; brothers, Freeman, Ernie and Joey, all of Yarmouth and half sisters, Louise, Noella and Brenda. Aside from her father, she was predeceased by a brother, Andrew. Donna had many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews that she loved and always remembered on their birthdays and at Christmas. Donna also faithfully kept in touch with their godchildren, Sheryl and Sharon of Dartmouth. Donna and Joe worked at the cotton mill in Yarmouth until it closed, then she worked at a local fish plant then at the Red Knight until she retired. Donna much appreciated all her care givers at Yarmouth Regional Hospital and during her short stay at the VG in Halifax. Special thanks to her sister-in-law, Eileen, for being there for her and Joe every day, and to her sister, Judy, for her love and encouragement. Visitation will take place from 4-5 and 7 to 9 p.m., Monday, with prayers at 8 p.m., both at H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Yarmouth, where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 5th at 2 p.m., Rev. Mr. Stephen Bourque officiating. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery,
